Dread Host Tower Droid was a model battle droid built specifically for the Dread Guard during the Dread War on the moon Oricon. The droid was humanoid in shape and had a gold plating over an obsidian black skeleton. His head with the red photoreceptors was styled after the helmets of the Dread Masters themselves. It was armed with a blaster rifle
Blaster rifle L5.a1.2 and had various secondary weapons, including wrist-mounted laser and thermal grenades. He was also equipped with an energy shield and a repair probe droid.
During the final stages of the Dread War, many such droids were deployed on Oricon and guarded the Dread Fortress Watchtower.
